The attention of the Office of the Greater Accra Regional Minister has been drawn to a truncated video clip circulating across social media platforms. This footage, deliberately excised from a comprehensive interview to serve partisan interests, is being used to propagate a false narrative and sow public confusion.
As the Head of Communications, I wish to categorically clarify the following points:
Outdated and Misrepresented Content
The video circulating is archival, originating from the Ablekuma North Elections. Claims suggesting that these events occurred recently are categorically false. Reintroducing this material into current public discourse without context is a deliberate attempt to mislead citizens.
No Connection to Alleged Ice Chest Distribution
Contrary to circulating claims, the Greater Accra Regional Minister and her Office have no involvement whatsoever in the distribution of ice chests or similar items. The Minister’s focus remains steadfast on regional development and coordination, and she does not authorize or participate in such activities.
Condemnation of Malicious Campaigns
This act is a calculated attempt by political adversaries to undermine the integrity of the Regional Minister through selective editing and misrepresentation. The public is urged to exercise discernment and reject these orchestrated attempts at deception.
CONCLUSION
The Office of the Regional Minister remains resolute in its mandate and is prepared to take legal action against any party that continues to circulate defamatory content intended to malign the Minister’s reputation.

Arnold Darlington Nikoi Kotey
Head of Communications
For: Greater Accra Regional Minister
