A total of 2,949 people lost their lives in 14,743 road traffic crashes across Ghana between January and December 2025, representing a sharp increase compared to 2024, provisional data from the National Road Safety Authority has revealed.The number of crashes rose from 13,489 in 2024 to 14,743 in 2025, reflecting a 9.3 percent increase.
