Family members of the missing NDC Tema West Women’s Organiser, Paulina Lamisi Akanbodiipo, together with party executives, have made a passionate appeal to President John Dramani Mahama to intervene and help expedite investigations into her whereabouts.

‎‎Paulina Lamisi Akanbodiipo has been missing for more than two years after she reportedly disappeared on June 12, 2024. She is said to have left her residence at Sowutuom in Accra that morning after completing an assignment and has not been seen since.‎

‎Investigations were launched into the matter, but no conclusive findings have been made so far.

‎‎Speaking at a press conference, Paulina’s brother, Paul Anamde, called on all relevant stakeholders, including President Mahama, the Inspector-General of Police, and the Ghana Police Service, to intensify efforts to uncover her whereabouts and provide answers that will bring closure to the family.

“We patiently make a passionate appeal to His Excellency, President John Dramani Mahama, to personally intervene and help ensure that renewed attention is given to this matter. We believe that under your leadership, the institutions of state can be encouraged to intensify efforts towards bringing closure to this painful chapter,” he said

‎‎The Member of Parliament for Tema West, James Enu, in his remarks, also shared in the family’s grief and urged investigators not to abandon the case but to deploy every necessary resource to ensure it is thoroughly resolved.

“As public servants and leaders, we have a responsibility to ensure that no case is forgotten. We acknowledge the efforts made by the security agencies, but we respectfully urge that all necessary resources continue to be deployed to bring this matter to a conclusion. The family deserves answers,” he said.
