As the Greater Accra Regional Minister, I wish to inform the general public that the Ministry of Roads and Highways has held a stakeholders’ meeting regarding structures located within selected road construction corridors in the Greater Accra Region.
The purpose of the meeting was to seek the support and cooperation of chiefs, opinion leaders, and local authorities to facilitate the removal of temporary and unauthorised structures obstructing ongoing road works. This intervention is necessary to accelerate construction activities and ensure the timely delivery of durable and quality roads for our people.
    The affected road sections include:

    • Ashaiman Timba Market / Tulaku through Afienya
    • Kpone Barrier to Central University
    • Dawhenya to Dodowa stretch
The meeting was attended by Municipal and Metropolitan Chief Executives, Assembly Members from the affected areas, traditional leaders, and a representative of National Security.
I wish to express my sincere appreciation to all stakeholders for their cooperation and shared commitment to development.
Government remains committed to engaging communities with respect and transparency as we work together to improve road infrastructure for the collective benefit of the region.
