Press Secretary and Spokesperson to the Interior Minister, Julius Kwame Anthony has revealed that government interventions on fuel pricing are temporary and subject to review.
Speaking on Joy News, monitored by MyNewsGh, he indicated that the current approach is designed to respond to global uncertainties.
“It is a temporary measure, first two weeks, then government will review the situation,” he said.
He linked the caution to external factors, including instability in global oil markets.
“Due to the unpredictability of the war in Iran, we need to assess and adjust accordingly,” he explained.
He also responded to calls for immediate action, urging patience as government prepares its next steps.
“The President will do what will ultimately serve the interests of the Ghanaian people,” he said, adding that further measures were expected to be announced.
