The Ghana Revenue Authority (GRA) has recognised a group of staff members who successfully completed two internal leadership training initiatives aimed at strengthening leadership capacity and enhancing organisational performance.

The recognition came during a certification presentation ceremony held at the Authority’s headquarters boardroom, where graduates of the Emerging Leadership Development Programme (ELDP) and the Leadership Development Programme (LDP) received certificates for completing the courses.

The event was attended by senior management officials, including the Deputy Commissioner for Training and Development and the Assistant Commissioner for Finance, underscoring the Authority’s commitment to staff development and leadership succession.

The Emerging Leadership Development Programme was designed to prepare rising leaders within the Authority for greater responsibilities.

The programme, which commenced on November 10, 2025, was delivered in two intensive study blocks and focused on key leadership competencies such as personal leadership, decision-making, emotional intelligence, effective communication, people management, and team collaboration.

The Leadership Development Programme, on the other hand, targeted senior officers, particularly Assistant Commissioners and Chief Revenue Officers, and sought to strengthen their leadership and management capabilities.

Launched on November 5, 2025, the programme covered six core modules, including self-leadership, people management, coaching and mentoring, leading across generations, stakeholder communication, and team management.

Graduates from both programmes expressed appreciation to GRA management for providing the opportunity to participate in the leadership development initiatives.

They described the training as rigorous yet highly beneficial, noting that it expanded their perspectives, strengthened their confidence, and equipped them with practical leadership skills that can be applied directly in their work.

Participants said the programmes had reinforced their commitment to professional excellence and ethical leadership.

Several graduates noted that beyond receiving certificates, they were leaving the programmes with a renewed sense of responsibility to lead with integrity and contribute meaningfully to the Authority’s mandate.

The ceremony concluded with the presentation of certificates to all participants who successfully completed the programmes.
