The Ministry of the Interior has announced that the 2025/26 Centralised Services E-Recruitment Portal (C-SERP) aptitude test will be conducted online for applicants seeking enlistment into the security services.
According to a statement issued by the Ministry, the aptitude test will form part of the recruitment process for the Ghana Police Service, Ghana Prisons Service, Ghana National Fire Service, and the Ghana Immigration Service.
Applicants have been advised to take the test using a computer system equipped with a webcam and microphone to ensure smooth participation in the online examination.
The aptitude test will be conducted in three category lots.
Applicants under Category A, comprising NVTI, JHS, Sportsmen and other certificate holders, will answer 30 questions and will subsequently undergo a trade test based on their selected trade vacancies.
Category B applicants, made up of HND, Degree and Master’s holders, as well as Category C applicants under WASSCE, will each answer 60 questions.
The Ministry stated that the pass mark for the aptitude test is 65 percent.
The aptitude test exercise will run from Tuesday, 10th February to Sunday, 22nd February 2026, with specific timelines assigned to each category.
Category A applicants will write their test from Tuesday, 10th to Friday, 13th February 2026.
Category B applicants will take theirs from Saturday, 14th to Tuesday, 17th February 2026, while Category C applicants will sit for the test between Wednesday, 18th and Sunday, 22nd February 2026.
All applicants are required to visit their respective recruitment portals within the specified dates to access the aptitude test link.
The Ministry added that SMS notifications will be sent to all qualified applicants to confirm the test periods.
Applicants who applied to multiple services will be required to take the aptitude test only once, except in cases where an applicant applied under different categories across different services or agencies.
The Ministry urged all applicants to prepare adequately and comply strictly with the guidelines to ensure a successful examination process.
