He has called on chiefs to remain vigilant and to judge politicians not by eloquent speeches or campaign promises, but by their actions and proven records of service. Too often, politicians make grand commitments during elections, only to abandon those promises after assuming office. He charged himself and his fellow chiefs across the country to be strong and forthright, wielding wisdom in their demands for social development in their traditional areas. For it is a weak or selfish chief that causes societies to crumble, not the people themselves.

A true politician is measured by integrity, by the fulfillment of promises, and by tangible results not empty rhetoric. According to Nii Sempe, chiefs should demand performance, transparency, and a genuine commitment to the welfare of the people before endorsing anyone for public office.

Nii Sempe, the Vicar and vigorous Ga Traditional Chief, also called on the government to renew its commitment to the development of Sempe School, Salaga Market, and all that Ga Mashie prides in. He spoke with the passion of a true revivalist and nationalist, earnestly calling for the restoration of all academic institutions that have long remained dormant in other regions owing to neglect and abandonment by government.

As is characteristic of Nii Sempe, he expresses his convictions with deep emotion, love for the welfare of his people, cultural pride, and an unwavering commitment to the advancement of the GaDangme people. To me, Nii Sempe is one of the finest traditional leaders of our time.
