The Ghana Police Service has rescued a nine-year-old girl who was abducted in the Eastern Region and arrested a female suspect linked to the incident. The Ghana Immigration Service (GIS) has intensified its nationwide crackdown on organised street begging networks, rescuing more than 600 undocumented migrants in a major operation in Kumasi in the Ashanti Region.
